Well, I have to say today I felt the hunger strike hit me like a wall. Lightheadedness, nausea, and weakness. Normally there is a weakness early in the morning, but I gain energy during the day.
Today—Thanksgiving Day—there was no respite. I was taking the day off to take my son-who is autistic—to some kinfolks for Thanksgiving. But I knew pretty early on that wasn’t happening. I had a good case of nausea and just sat down and didn’t move.
I have a wood stove and I didn’t care if there wasn’t a fire. I have been in bed most the day. Tomorrow will be different. Today was a very off day.
