In response to legal action by San Antonio Bay Waterkeeper and others, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers agreed in Dec. 2022 to conduct a supplemental review of the sediment in Matagorda Bay to appropriately measure the environmental risk presented by the Port Authority’s plan.

The Army Corps is receiving public comment about the review from now until July 3, 2023.  Please click the red box to send in your comments and let the Corps know you oppose the plan to dredge Matagorda Bay!
